In 2024, according to the results of the Consolidated Rating of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine, BSMU is among the TOP-10 best institutions of higher medical education in Ukraine.
The University ranked 5th among medical universities and 34th among all Ukrainian higher education institutions in the academic ranking of higher education institutions of Ukraine “Top-200 Ukraine 2024”.
According to the Internet productivity rating “Webometrics Ranking of World’s Universities”, in July 2024 the University ranked 2nd among medical universities of Ukraine and 22nd among all Ukrainian higher education institutions.
The absolute success rate of passing the test components of the Unified State Qualification Exam by students of BSMU is higher than 90% mostly. According to this indicator, the university occupies 1-3 places among higher education institutions in Ukraine.
