Today, January 26, India celebrates its 74th Republic Day. It is a national holiday that marks the adoption of the Constitution of India and the country’s freedom from the British Empire. It was the result of 90-year struggle of the Indian Independence Movement. We, Ukrainians, know the cost of independence and the importance of this event. We share the love of the native land, the desire for freedom and have a similar spiritual worldview.
On behalf of the University Authority, the whole teaching staff and students of Bukovinian State Medical University, we sincerely congratulate Indian students on the Glorious Jubilee of the Republic of India. We are proud of achievements of our Indian students in education, sports, and social-cultural activities.
Today there is a great interest among Ukrainians in Indian culture, including various aspects such as Ayurveda, dance, philosophy and spirituality. India with its multinational structure and thousands of languages and many religions teaches the world to be tolerant and respect each other.
On the occasion of the 74th Republic Day of India we wish all the students from India health, success in life, achievements of setting goals, unforgettable positive impressions from studying at our University and staying in Ukraine, and to your homeland – further prosperity, peace and harmony!

Сьогодні ми пошановуємо 74-ту річницю Дня Республіки Індія. Це національне свято, яке знаменує прийняття Конституції Індії та результат 90-річної боротьби руху за незалежність Індії. Ми, українці, знаємо ціну незалежності та її важливість для нації. Ми чудово розуміємо патріотичну любов до Батьківщини, бажання свободи та маємо дуже подібні цінності й духовний світогляд.
Від викладацького та студентського колективів Буковинського державного медичного університету щиро вітаємо індійських студентів із славним Ювілеєм Республіки Індії. Ми пишаємося досягненнями наших індійських студентів у навчанні, спорті та соціокультурній діяльності.
Сьогодні серед українців існує великий інтерес до індійської культури, включаючи різні аспекти, такі як Аюрведа, танець, філософія та духовність. Індія зі своєю багатонаціональною структурою, тисячами мов та численними релігіями вчить світ терпимості та поваги один до одного.
З нагоди Дня Республіки Індії ми бажаємо всім студентам з Індії здоров’я, успіхів у житті, досягнень у досягненні цілей, незабутніх позитивних вражень від навчання в нашому університеті та перебування в Україні, а вашій батьківщині – подальшого процвітання, миру та гармонії!
